State Police making roadside checks across Illinois

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Illinois State Police are increasing their patrols this weekend, conducting 100 roadside safety checks and 500 saturation patrols across the state.

Police are on the lookout for drunk drivers and want to make sure motorists are buckling up. More than 500 seat belt enforcement zones are in place.
