Firefighter injured in East Garfield Park fire

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago firefighter is recovering after getting hurt on the job earlier on Friday.

Chopper 7 HD was over the fire near Washington and Sacramento, on the city's West Side.

The fire heavily damaged a two-story building. There's no word if anyone was inside when the fire started.

The cause of the fire is under investigation right now.

The firefighter is expected to be okay.
