Water main break causes road closures in Skokie

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- Crews are working to repair a water main break that has caused some road closures in suburban Skokie, officials said.

The southbound lanes on Skokie Boulevard will be closed between Niles Center Road and Dempster Street Thursday afternoon as crews work to repair the main. Southbound traffic will be directed at Niles Center Road to Dempster Street and back to Skokie Boulevard, officials said.

The repairs will be done by the end of the day Thursday, officials said.
