Car in water near Waukegan yacht club

WAUKEGAN, Ill. -- Two people swam to safety after the car they were in fell into Lake Michigan in Waukegan, Ill.

Police said a vehicle parked near The Silver Place at the Yacht Club fell into Lake Michigan, but didn't say how. The two people inside got out and were taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

A tow truck is on the shore, but the car appears to have sunk.
