CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police say two men are dead and one woman is wounded after a shooting in North Lawndale.
Police say the three were shot in and around a car in the 4200-block of West Grenshaw around 5 p.m. Friday when an offender approached the vehicle on foot, fired shots and then fled.
Police say when they responded to a call about shots fire they found a 31-year-old man fatally shot in the head at the scene and a 28-year-old man shot in the head in the driver's side of the car. The 28-year-old man was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition and died a short time later.
Police say a 54-year-old woman was shot in the leg and has been stabilized at St. Anthony Hospital.
Chicago police are investigating the shooting.
