Woman robs Harris Bank in Schaumburg

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- Schaumburg police are looking for a woman who robbed a Harris Bank in the 2400-block of W. Schaumburg Road on Monday morning.

Police say the woman presented a note to the bank teller demanding money. The teller complied, giving the woman an unspecified amount of money, and then left in a light blue four-door "beater" car with a dent on the rear passenger side quarter panel.

Police released surveillance photos of the woman, who wore a dark-colored jacket and hoodie, jeans, a knit cap and glasses. Anyone with information related to the robbery is asked to contact Schaumburg police at 847-882-3586.
