YWCA Metropolitan Chicago honors community leaders at annual luncheon

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The YWCA Metropolitan Chicago held its annual luncheon to recognize outstanding community leaders Thursday.

YWCA is the oldest and largest women's organization in the region. Its mission is to eliminate racism and empower women.

"We've also seen tremendous growth in both the breadth and the depth of our programs and services that we have the capability of impacting the lives of tens of thousands of women and families," said Dorri McWhorter, CEO of YWCA Metropolitan Chicago.
