Peterson receives seized property

LOCKPORT, Ill. "You'd think they would have gassed them and washed them for me... but no!!!" said Peterson.

The former Bolingbrook police sergeant joked with reporters as he picked up the vehicles in Lockport Tuesday.

Last fall, police confiscated the vehicles during the investigation into the disappearance of Peterson's wife, Stacy. They also confiscated two computers, which Peterson will receive in the upcoming weeks.

However, eleven weapons that are part of Peterson's gun collection are still being withheld.

Peterson is considered a suspect in his wife's disappearance. He denies any involvement in her case, as well as in the death of his ex-wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004.
