Men, Baby Boomers fueling spa industry boom

According to Spa Finder Incorporated's annual report, this is happening as more Baby Boomers seek pain relief as well as relaxing and luxury treatments.

Massage is still the most popular treatment, but people with deep pockets are opting for pricier treatments, including 1,200 dollar facials.

The biggest explosion is said to be in Asia.

But. in the US, men wanting to look younger to compete in a tough job market and Boomer men seeking pain relief and physical therapy are fueling the trend.

With stress identified as the main reason people visit spas, industry experts predict good times ahead for their industry.
