The crash forced the closure of the outbound ramp for several hours while police investigated early Saturday morning.
Illinois State Police said four others were hurt. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
Deante Dillion, 22, was killed after a crash near the Dan Ryan Expressway's merge with the Chicago Skyway, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. He was pronounced dead at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County at 4:46 a.m.
