CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were killed in a car crash Saturday night on the city's West Side, according to authorities.
The crash happened just after 11 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison Street and Independence Boulevard in Homan Square, Chicago police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner says a 16-year-old boy and a female, who's age hasn't been given, were killed.
Chicago police initially said a 14-year-old girl was killed in the crash.
Three other people were also injured in the crash, police said.
Police say the teen was in a vehicle that ran a red light and was hit by another car and then hit a pole.
No further information was immediately available.
