A $20,000 reward is now being offered for information on a Chicago mass shooting that left three killed and six wounded Dec. 2 on 59th Street.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A $20,000 reward is now being offered to anyone who can help police find the person responsible for a mass shooting on the Southwest Side.

Cook County CrimeStoppers were passing out fliers Saturday as they continue to search for answers after nine people were shot, three of them killed, in the shooting earlier this month. So far, no arrests have been made.

A $10,000 reward was announced by Cook County CrimeStoppers earlier this month. The ATF has announced an additional $10,000 is now being offered, bringing the total to $20,000.

The shooting happened December 2 near Chicago Lawn and Gage Park.

Three people were killed and six others injured when someone opened fire during a party at a house on 59th Street, Chicago police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the deceased victims as 32-year-old Osmer Angel Ferrer Oria, 28-year-old Jon Carlos Blancarcer, and 26-year-old Hector M. Sajo.

"The community has given some information, but it's not the detailed information that is going to result in an arrest, and so that's why we are here," said George McDade, chairman for Cook County CrimeStoppers.

The CrimeStoppers knocked on doors, spoke to neighbors and left flyers on cars Saturday in the hopes that it will lead to a break in the case.

Neighbors have stated that the incident began as a large house party and ended with gunfire.

Fernando Sánchez lives across from the home and says he heard the gunshots but didn't know the victims. He said often he would see different men and women coming in and out of the home.

Local business owner María Del Carmen says it's sad that no suspects have been arrested. The shooting took place a day after the grand opening of her health and wellness shop.

Police said they have been called to the home where the shooting took place before, but a motive for the shooting is still unclear.

CrimeStoppers say all tips will remain anonymous, and they are urging the public to speak out.

"Sometimes people think that, 'oh, someone already said something,' or, 'what I know is very little,'" McDade said. "Maybe that's that one piece of the puzzle that puts it all together, so they need to get involved ."

Any one with information has been asked to call Cook County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-535-STOP, or the Chicago Police Department at 833-408-0069.
