17-year-old fatally shot in Gage Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in the city's Gage Park neighborhood, police said.

A gunman allegedly walked up to the teen in the 5800-block of South Western Friday night and shot him in the chest, police said. He later died at the hospital.

Police say the teen may have had gang ties.
