29th Annual Ghanafest in Chicago
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Music, food, fashion, and culture from the African continent will be on full display as the 29th Annual Ghanafest returns to Chicago on July 29, 2017. Everyone is invited to share in the fun from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. at Washington Park. Tickets are just $10 at the gate. Guests can taste authentic Ghanian dishes. There's also live entertainment from musicians, dancers, and a fashion show. For the kids, Ghanafest features a Youth Village, which includes dancing competitions, trivia games, face painting, and more. Eunice Cromwell and Nana Yaa Ampofo from the Ghana National Council visited the ABC 7 State Street Studios to share a small sample of what you can do at Ghanafest.
