Applebee's No Tech Tuesday

Applebee's restaurant is asking diners to put down their mobile devices one day a week: Tuesdays.

On the other days, Applebee's is go-go gadget. The restaurant chain says it will install tablet computers on tables at more than 1,800 restaurants nationwide by the end of the year. Customers will be able to order and pay for their meals through the tablets.
