Woman shot in home invasion

Chicago police are searching for two men who shot a mother on the city's South Side during a home invasion.It happened in the 5300 Block S. Honore in Chicago. Police say two gunmen knocked on the home's front door, and forced their way in once the door was opened.

Queen Gavin is recovering at home after she was shot during a struggle with one of the gunmen. The bullet went through her arm and lodged in her chest.

"They came in the door with the gun on my mother. I hopped up to grab the gun. I got shot here and here," said Queen Gavin. "They got about $30 or $40, but they dropped that going out the door."

Five other people were in the home at the time, including two children. The gunmen ran off.
