Two Mercer County men who deliver the news are making the news for saving people from the cold. On Wednesday, a man was delivering newspapers when he stumbled on a man in the fetal position in the driveway. He had driven his car into a ditch and apparently collapsed while looking for help. He's in the hospital with frostbite.

Tommy Widener was driving along a rural road delivering papers when he saw a car in a ditch with an unconscious woman inside. There was no heat and the car battery was dead.

"She had a blanket. The only other thing she had on was a sweatshirt and sweatpants," said Tommy Widener, Newspaper Delivery Man.

Police say alcohol was involved in both incidents.

The woman was taken to the hospital and treated but was then taken to jail on drunk driving charges.
