Police question two in stabbing attacks

CHICAGO Two of the victims were found in an SUV that came to a stop near Rosemont and Clark. The other two victims were at an apartment building about a block away.

One of the victims, a 17-year-old, was rushed to the hospital where he died. The other three -- including a 14-year-old boy -- are expected to be OK.

"Apparently as they were driving through the alley, which is between Thome and Rosemont, someone ran up to the side of the vehicle, opened the door and stabbed them a few times," said Jacob Ortony, local resident.

For several hours overnight, police searched the area for additional clues to the crime and interviewed possible witnesses.

The activity left some residents concerned.

"I'm on the street a lot at night. This is about the biggest I can recall happening," said Frank Eisgruber, local resident.

Police say there is a chance this was gang related.

Police do not have a motive for the attacks. They say the attacks may be gang related.

Officials are working on getting a description on the suspect.
