IRS offers stimulus package help

Six Chicago area IRS offices will be open extra hours Saturday to help low income people-- including some retirees and veterans-- get the checks.

Under the stimulus act, some single people are eligible to receive at least $300 and married couples are eligible to receive at least $600.

Many households can also get an additional $300 for each qualifying child under the age of 17.
