Metra looking to build station near The Cell
CHICAGO Rail line officials are looking for contractors to build a new station that will serve the ballpark and the Illinois Institute of Technology.
The new stop will be located at 35th and Federal streets just east of the Dan Ryan Expressway.
An artist has come up with a drawing of what the station will look like.
Construction will start this summer.
It's scheduled to open during the 2009 baseball season.
