An Aurora man is charged with stealing several global positioning systems from cars and police believe he is behind a string of thefts in surrounding suburbs.

Alejandro Gudino is charged with burglary. He was arrested last week when he was stopped for a traffic violation.

The vehicle Gudino was driving was identified as one used in thefts in Naperville and Aurora. Police say he may be connected to GPS robberies in North Aurora, Naperville, Batavia, Geneva and Oswego. Those crimes are still being investigated.
