Suburban toddler chokes on blinds cord

OAK FOREST Three-year-old Maxillian Padilla was found hanging from the cord in his bedroom late Tuesday afternoon.

The child and his parents were the only ones in the house at the time.

The case is being investigated as an accidental death. The Department of Children and Family Services is not investigating the death.
