Stroger to meet with northwest suburban residents

The recent increase in the county sales tax triggered an angry response from suburban taxpayers.

Stroger had agreed to appear at a community event in Palatine to discuss the tax increase but pulled out at the last minute.

According to the Daily Herald, a new meeting has been set for June 16 at Harper College.
