Last Independence Day, four people died in crashes on state highways. Two of those deaths involved a drunk driver.
State police say anyone hosting a July 4th party can be prosecuted if alcohol is served to someone who is involved in a drunken driving crash.
Officers are also reminding people that if they plan to drink over the holiday, designate a sober driver.
And they want to make sure all drivers and passengers buckle up.
