CTA Blue Line Rehab Project to begin on Tues.

Starting early Tuesday morning train service to the airport will be suspended between Rosemont and O'Hare. A 24-hour bus shuttle service will carry people to and from the airport.

Crews are working to eliminate slow zones on the O'Hare branch of the Blue Line. Workers are replacing deteriorated rails, ties and spikes.

Normal service to the airport isn't expected to resume until Monday, July 28.

The final phase of the project includes replacing tracks between the Jefferson Park and Addison stops and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
