Personal info of 19,000 lost in Tinley Park

TINLEY PARK A backup computer tape that contained the data vanished during a transfer process.

Village officials say the risk that anyone could access the information is very slim.

The computer tape had Social Security and bank account numbers for 19,000 people.

Letters are being mailed to anyone impacted.

Village officials say foul play is not suspected.
