CTA and Pace to offer joint 7-day pass

November 14, 2008 3:18:44 PM PST
The Chicago Transit Authority and Pace are creating a new joint seven-day pass for riders. The CTA board has given the green light for the agreement.

The new pass replaces the old CTA seven-day pass that will no longer be accepted by Pace. It will provide commuters with unlimited rides on both systems for $5 more than the CTA only pass.

All of this takes effect the first of the year.
