Long-time Hyde Park rabbi dead at 84

CHICAGO Rabbi Arnold Jacob Wolf died suddenly Tuesday at the age of 84.

For 20 years, Wolf was rabbi at the KAM Isaiah Synagogue in Hyde Park, just across the street from the home of President-elect Barack Obama.

Wolf's son says his father most likely died of a heart attack.

There will be no autopsy because of Jewish law.

A funeral will be held Friday.
