Chicago area business donates prom dresses

Glass Slipper Project receives thousands of dresses
April 3, 2009 (CHICAGO) The Glass Slipper Project has received 3,000 dresses and more than 150 pairs of shoes from Zengeler cleaners. It's the seventh year that the north suburban company has collected prom wear from its customers.

The Glass Slipper Project provides almost-new gowns, shoes, purses and accessories to high-school students in need. This year, girls will be able to shop at the Vernon Johns Middle School in Chicago.

The Glass Slipper Project has helped more than 15,000 girls pick out the perfect dress in the past 10 years.
