Teen killed in Edens rollover

May 30, 2009 (NORTHFIELD, Ill.) Investigators say Carlos Vasquez, 19, was driving southbound at Willow Road when his car went off the expressway, struck a tree and rolled over. He was ejected from the vehicle, which was split in half by the tree.

Vasquez, of the 2200 block of W. Thome, was pronounced dead at 4:10 am.

There were no passengers in the car. State police suspect the driver was drag racing with another car - a black Honda. They're asking anyone with information to call state police.
