A preliminary police searched yielded evidence of Kaumeyer's online correspondence as well as invitation for his upcoming wedding.
Kaumeyer's bond was set at $15,000. His will appear in court next on June 16.
Man arrested in child solicitation case
June 10, 2009 Jason Kaumeyer, 26, of the 1100-block of Geneva Street, was charged with indecent solicitation of a child. Kauymeyer suggested meeting for sex to a girl he thought was 14 years old but was actually a detective with the Police Child Exploitation Unit. He arranged to meet the girl near a fast food restaurant where he was taken into custody.
