The group disagrees with the American Medical Association, which is backing legislation endorsed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Many in the crowd held signs defending the current health care system and criticizing proposed changes.
Doctors rally against health care reform
November 21, 2009 (CHICAGO) Doctors for Patient Care led the demonstration in Chicago's Millennium Park. A spokesman told ABC7 that proposals offering a government option and taxing and regulating insurance companies would destroy those companies and lead to socialized medicine.
