Paula Deen hit by a ham

November 23, 2009 Deen was helping deliver 25,000 pound of protein to Hosea Feed The Hungry & Homeless in Atlanta on Monday morning when a little horseplay led to getting hit by the ham.

"He threw the ham back and I was un-expecting the pig and it hit me full on. 'Bout knocked me for a loop," said Deen.

The donation is part of a Smithfield Foods program to help the hungry.

The foodnetwork star needed an icepack for her nose, but within minutes she was hamming it up for the TV crews.

"I just got hit with a hog," said Deen.
