Survey: Some shoppers to skip post-holiday sales

December 15, 2009 A new survey by an industry research group finds fewer consumers will be looking for post-holiday sales this season.

Thirty five percent said they would be out shopping the week after Christmas. That's down 3 percent from last year.

In past years, as many as 55 percent planned to take advantage of post-Christmas sales. That's not good news for retailers who are already struggling to make a profit this season.
