The weather is improving and the deadline for taking down holiday lights has arrived in one Chicago suburb.

A city ordinance required people living in Aurora to remove their holiday decorations by February 25. But this year, the deadline was extended because of the cold and snowy weather.

The new deadline is March 15th. Violators could face a $50 fine.
