NTSB: Pilot error probable cause in 2008 chopper crash

Federal investigators say pilot error was the probable cause of a deadly medical helicopter crash in Aurora in 2008.

The Air Angels chopper was headed to Children's Memorial Hospital when it apparently clipped a radio tower and crashed in an adjacent field. One-year-old Kirstin Blockinger and three others on board were killed.

The National Transportation Safety Board said it was the pilot's "responsibility to see and avoid the radio tower."
