Office manager accused of stealing thousands

April 2, 2010 (ORLAND PARK, Ill.) Margaret Humbracht of Lockport is accused stealing between $50,000 and $100,000 from a medical office she managed in Orland Park.

The Cook County Sheriff's Department says Humbracht allegedly forged a doctor's signature on an $18,000 check to cover her tax debts.

She is also accused of using a business credit card to purchase clothing and furniture for herself.

Investigators say additional charges may be filed.
