The same storm that brought the torrential rains to Elwood, where President Obama's Memorial Day event was cancelled, also caused other problems around the Chicago area.In north suburban Antioch, the storm brought down several trees. One fell on top of a Marine storage unit on Bluff Lake, damaging both the building and boats inside.

Another tree crashed through the window of a house.

"All of a sudden, couldn't see two feet in front you. Winds 80 to 90 miles per hour, microburst," said homeowner Paul Duval. "Stuck a branch right through the window."

Antioch fire officials say downed trees also knocked out power to many customers. There were no reports of injuries.
