A new study finds women are drawn to men wearing that color.
Researchers at the University of Rochester found women view men in red as higher in status, more likely to make money and more likely to climb the social ladder.
The study included undergraduates across the US, England, Germany and China. The effect on women was the same across the globe.
The study appears in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General.
