Michael Shakman, the attorney at the center of the long-running lawsuit tackling political hiring, says Cook County Board President Todd Stroger has hired more than 150 people in violation of the ban.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Shakman accuses the Stroger administration of altering the list of jobs to make them exempt from the decree.

An attorney for Stroger told the paper that the new job list did not violate the ban.
