The Sun-Times reports that a bank is foreclosing on two law office buildings that he owns. Vrdolyak's lawyers say the foreclosures involve a business dispute with the bank and that it has nothing to do with his personal finances.
Vrdolyak is scheduled to be re-sentenced next month for his role in a real estate scheme that he pleaded guilty to in 2008.
