A race held Wednesday morning aimed to help Chicago's homeless, and some of the runners who took part are homeless.

The event was sponsored by a non-profit organization called "Back On My Feet."

It works to improve the self-esteem of homeless Chicagoans and help them create focus and discipline in their lives.

The organization also provides job training, employment, housing and grant money to help them build a better life.
