Bosley, best known for his role in the 70's sitcom "Happy Days," died of heart failure Tuesday morning.
Happy Days was one of the top-rated TV shows in the mid 70's and ran for 11 seasons. In fact, in 2004, TV Guide ranked Bosley's Happy Days character number 9 on its list of "50 Greatest TV dads of all time."
After Happy Days, Bosley would frequently co-star with Angela Lansbury on her CBS series "Murder She Wrote."
Actor Henry Winkler, who starred in Happy Days with Bosley told a LA radio station Tuesday morning that he was in shock saying, "I just spoke to him a few weeks ago and he seemed to be getting his strength back."
Bosley was 83-years old.
