The fire started around 1:30 p.m. Thursday near the Union Pacific railroad tracks in the 3200-block of North Normandy, which is also adjacent to the Kennedy Expressway. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the flames that sent large plumes of smoke into the air.
No one was hurt.
A few trains were delayed about 15 minutes because of the fire.
