Blackhawk fans hope the team can repeat as Stanley Cup champs, but even if they don't there will still be a cup - of sorts - for fans to admire.

A life-size replica of Lord Stanley's cup is the work of Michael Rigitano of Westchester. He made it using at least 7,000 individual bottle caps. He says he started collecting the caps from the bar where he works.

"They had just won the Cup and I've been a hockey fan all my life, played since I was 3, been a 'hawks fan all my life, so it was just a tribute to them for what they accomplished out there," Rigitano told ABC7.

The Stanley 'Cap-Cup' was displayed at a recent 'hawks game and Rigitano says the 'hawks want him to bring it to their fan convention this summer.
