Chicago police are warning bank customers to watch out for those so-called 'skimming devices' when using automatic teller machines.

Two of the devices were found on an ATM in the Lakeview community.

Someone tried to withdraw money at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2900-block of North Lincoln Avenue when two skimming devices fell out of the ATM.

Police officers recovered the devices.

They can be inserted into ATM's to allow thieves to record credit card and pin numbers.
