The report reveals Duerson had carefully laid out documents on the dining room table and on his bed at his Florida condo. He placed framed certificates, medals, and a folded American flag at the head of his bed.
The 50-year-old shot himself with a 38 Special while in bed last month.
Duerson played with the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Bears. He asked that his brain be donated for research to see if he had a disorder related to playing-time concussions.
