Daniel Miller was out covering a story when he heard cries coming from beneath a storm grate.
Eleven ducklings had fallen in and were calling out for help while their mother circled frantically above. Miller climbed down and caught the babies one by one, putting them in a shopping bag.
A few of them didn't make the rescue easy, scampering away in the drain. But the reporter didn't give up and continued his underground mission until all the ducklings were safely out and reunited with their grateful mom.
