Celebrating Scottish Culture in Chicago

June 18, 2011 (CHICAGO)

The Chicago Scots (link: www.chicagoscots.org) present the 25th annual Scottish Festival and Highland Games.

The event promotes Chicago's Scottish tradition, revelry, and culture. Highlights include a Highland Dance competition, crowning of the Heather Queen and Court, Celtic music, a Champion Supreme Piping and Drumming competition, and more.

To give us a little taste, a bagpiper and a group of dancers are visiting us in our ABC7 studio Saturday morning.
