Earlier Saturday morning, all southbound lanes had to be rerouted off the freeway so crews could use cranes to dismantle the damaged structure supporting the signs.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. The force of the collision left the signs and other parts of the posts in danger of falling onto the roadway.
The truck driver was not seriously injured. No other motorists were involved in the accident.
